I opened entourage and the inbox can't be opened or accessed (over 2000 messages), sent items all good. Just prior had tried to download adobe flash player from a reliable link then file name looked dodgy and I aborted (may be just a random event??). Now everything is running ridiculously slow and seems to be in meltdown. I'm trying to back up but it seems to be faulting all the time saying whatever has an error. I tried to backup microsoft user data and it says something is unreadable in database.
Back to entourage - tried to run rebuild with no success. Tried to repair using start up disk and it says no repairs necessary. Am on a macbook with office 2004, OSX 10.4.11. Help appreciated.
