I have so many emails that I need to save for future searching that I would prefer that they were located on an external drive. This will free up a LOT of memory on my MacBook. I cannot figure out how to put an alias folder or other "pointer" to a place on my external drive in Entourage.

I see how to export files but once that is done, do I then not have access to them through Entourage unless I import them back into Entourage? If this is the only way then it is not easy to search for an old email if I need it.

Suggestions?
