I'm currently a Mac user, at least as far as work is concerned. I had a problem this morning with Entourage crashing.

I shut down my Mac running OSX on Friday. When I started up this morning and opened my Entourage my account was gone. It had defaulted to the welcome screen for a new user.

My IT department is Mac stupid and couldn't give me any answers. They could just re-set up my account. Of course now I've lost all my inbox, drafts, saved, etc.

My question is, what would cause this to happen? Friday I installed Norton Anti-Virus, but nothing else was added or removed from the system. I don't believe anyone worked on my system over the weekend. Could this be a problem caused in start up?

Any answers or directions to look would be appreciated. Thank you!
