When you type a URL or email address in an Outlook document, it automatically turns blue and is underlined, representing a link. when I type a URL or email address in Entourage, the software does not recognize it as a link. What can I do to correct/change this?

As far as I know there is no way to have Entourage automatically create a hyperlink because you are using OS X components, not Windows components, in the underlying OS.

I wish Microsoft would get rid of Entourage and give us Outlook. What's the point of having two different e-mail clients anyway? Hopefully, the functionality of Entourage will be greatly enhanced in Office 2008.

I'm not so sure that the link you type doesn't show up as a link to the recipient. Send an email to yourself with a hyperlink in it to test it out.

Edit: email links do, but you have to type http:// before web links to make them work.

Entourage Hyperlink

Yes, you are right. They are received as hyperlinks, though they don't show that in entourage.
