Entourage Rules Corrupt PLEASE HELP

Entourage Rule's are corrupt on my moms mac (whatever the means) and now entourage will not open. I am stumped. Is there anyway to restore her Entourage or should I just keep trying to convince her to switch to mac mail or Thunderbird. How can I export from entourage and into mail without it working? Please help and quick! THANKs

Hold down the Option key while launching Entourage. This should bring up the database repair utility.

If that doesn't work, find the Databse Utility in the Office folder inside the Microsoft Office folder. (Who names these folders? )
