Entourage sending double attachements

Hi,

When I send attachements from entourage on my mac to other pc users, all the attachments appear twice on the recipient end.

I'll send one pdf file, and the recipient will recieve 2 copies of the same file in their inbox, both with the same name. 1 being the original one i sent, and the other being a smaller file that wont open, but with the same name.

Any ideas??

you haven't got a rule setup that may affect this have you?

How is entourage set up? are you using exchange server?

Nope, no rules are setup.
We are using regular pop mail, with no exchange server.

What program are the PC users using to view your messages? Are the users all in the same group or company and on the same mail system? If so, maybe the problem is on their side. If you're only attaching one file and they are receiving two, it could be some configuration setting on their mail server.

All in the same office.
The recipients are using outlook.
And they are getting the problem coming from other parties, and not just from within the office...

What type of configuration problem can it be??

Not sure without looking at it (using Lotus Notes at work) but it could be some MIME setting. But since it's not Entourage causing the problem, I would recite this quote and move on...
