Yes. I just ordered a BTO 27" it takes pricing down on every component including applecare.
I ordered my 27" this morning. Then saw a similar report of EPP pricing. Just cancelled my full price order and re ordered with the lower price. Saved $21 and upgraded from the 1 TB to the 3 TB. Awesome.
I guess some discounts are better than others.
Almost maxing out the 27" and getting Apple Care... the price for me goes from like $3,600 to like $3,400 So like 6% discount which is practically nothing

I do some iPad reading just after I wake up. When I read the EPP availability, I SPRINTED out of bed to my MacBook upstairs. YAY!

WOW! Nice. Mine's just 6%. Not really much but at least it's something.
Another spot of good news. Before I switched my order to the EPP priced machine I researched bootcamp on the 3 tb HDD and the workaround I would have to do only to find out a few hours later 10.8.3 was released that fixes the bootcamp 3 tb issue. Yesterday was a very good day to order indeed. A little price discount and a OS fix to a major issue.
