macOS EPROM burner TL866 for Apple Silicon

I have seen instructions for using the TL866 EPROM burner via Linux and/or Terminal with Apple Silicon.

Does anyone know where I can find step-by-step instructions for someone who rarely uses anything other than the Mac GUI, and Terminal only via copy and pasting commands?

I need to get this EPROM burner working again and since WINE and VMWare Fusion that I have are for Intel Macs, I am thinking Terminal is the way to go.

It appears form what I see online you need a program called 'minipro' which is a terminal program that will talk to the programmer device. And it seems the easiest way to install it is via homebrew.
