Help!

I can't send or receive EPS files using Mail. Whenever I attach an EPS I get the beachball of doom for ever, same if someone sends me one. Other file formats seem to be ok.

What can I do - it's driving me mad!!!

.eps mail freeze

I am experiencing the same problem. This started to happen immadiately after installing the latest system updates from Apple. Simply changing the extension of the file to .ai solves the problem in mail, but this is not the way to do it. Also, from QuarkXpress 6.52, I can no longer do a Mail PDF (from the print dialog). The same problem occurs, the Beachball spins forever.
When I restart in Safe Mode, both these problems disapear.
I tried Repair Disk Utilities and Repair Disk without any success.
I can't figure out how to solve this problem.
