Would welcome suggestions! I am trying to connect my new Epson 645 to wifi (I'm using the service called Clear). The Clear connection works fine with my Macbook Pro.

First of all, the printer works well via USB connection.

The problem is the wireless setup.

I followed the directions on the 645 setup panel and selected "Wireless LAN Connection."

Then selected "Setup Wizard."

Under "Select SSID" my Clear router appears and I select it.

Then it says "Enter Password." I enter the same password I use to get onto my Clear account on-line, but the Epson says password failed. I have tried this about 10 times (in case I entered the letters wrong) and it failed each time.

A printout of reasons for the failure (provided by the Epson printer) suggest the wifi signal might be low. But my computer and iPad work just fine.

Any suggestions how to get the printer to read the password and connect?

Sounds like you're using the wrong password. You need to use the WiFi password.
(Should Not be the same as the one you use for service authentication.)
