Epson Printer Monitor Problem!

Hi,

I have just set up my Epson PX700W on my Time Capsule Network. When printing the 'Epson Printer Monitor' pops up as well as the regular Mac os x printer window. I think the 2 are clashing and the apple window says the printer is 'busy' and the Epson says 'Please wait...'

I assume they are both simultaneously trying to connect to printer and this is messing things up, please could someone let me know how to get this horrible bit of Epson software off my mac so i run everything through apple's printer windows.
