I have an Epson ET-2720 color printer with the big tanks that works really well and costs far less to run than the $8000 dollar an ounce ink HPs.
(iMac 27" 2017, 2 Mac Mini 6cores, all three with updated Mojave, printer connected with USB, latest printer drivers)
When installed it shows to be online in the System Preferences/Printers and Scanners pane. But after the first reboot, it is always red dotted as offline, although it still works fine. I can reset the printing system and reinstall it again, but get the exact same symptoms.
Since it works, even if the Mac it is hooked to (tried it on all three) thinks it is unavailable, it would be no big deal, except that a remote Mac trying to remote print errors out with "Printer offline".
Suggestions anyone?
Thanks.
