I've posted here before with questions about sharing Epson printers across a mixed network of Intel and PPC Macs, because I couldn't get it to work properly. Well, just for your information (anyone else with this problem, that is) I have had a long correspondence with Epson wherein they finally conceded that IT DOES NOT WORK. Whichever way round you do it - either trying to print from the PPC machine or the Intel machine, with the printer connected to either one, you cannot adjust the printer settings from the "client" Mac.

Please be advised that having tested this extensively it seems that it is not possible to share the printer and get access to all of the printer dialogs like paper/quality selection.
It does work fine from Intel-Intel or PowerPC to PowerPC but not both, it would appear to be a limitation of the Printer Sharing implementation within our driver.
This may be overcome when updated drivers are released for the EPSON Stylus Photo R800 but unfortunately we do not have a date for when this would be.
