I just dumped my PC for a new Imac. I have an existing Epson R300. There is an Epson software program for PC's which enables you to print on CD's and DVD's. Does anyone know if this is also available in Mac format?

If not, do you know of another program to do this? Thanks!!

I am going to need this too - please post anything that you find. I forgot about CD printing when I made my spontaneous decision to go Mac. I use Surething for my DVD printing on Windows - that works REALLY well.

I just googled, and noticed this review of Print Shop, which prints directly to the DVD on an Epson:

Also - the Epson site lists compatible software - I am a Mac noob - do you see anything (other than the obvious 'Print Shop for Mac') that is for Mac OS?

I have the Adobe package which works well for most of my printing - so I am not too keen to install 'The Print Shop'. I suppose my wife may like it though...

I have the R200 - and it came with a Mac version (OS8-9 and OSX) of "Epson Print CD".

I found an old spec PDF on the Epson site that says that the R300 driver/software disc has version of Print CD on it - I assuming it's for both PC and Mac (especially if they were still supporting OS 8 & 9 when the R200 came out.)

(look at the "Family Comparison" PDF)

If you don't have the install CD anymore, it might be worth an email to Epson to see if you can get one.

I have not used this software yet, as I am using Acousta on the PC,have not tried it under parallels, but I came across this for the Mac:

(I hate the epson software on the pc.)

I have not actually purchased this software and used it, so can't say for sure how good it is, but it says it supporst epson R series printers direct to CD printing.
