Epson Rx580 Printer Problem

Well, not really a problem...
any1 know how to only use black ink on this printer?
i got only a black cartridge in and it won't let me print. any way around this?
i don't print in color ever and I don't want to shell out 100+ on color ink
I got this printer for free by the way. lol.

I'm not at my Mac right now so I can't tell you precisely, but there is an option somewhere in the print dialog that says something to the effect of 'Use Black Ink Only.' I think it is in the ColorSync portion, but don't quote me on that. Not sure of that will work if you don't have any color inks installed, but it should only use black ink if this is set.
