Epson Stylus C66 error

Hi all folks,

got problems with my "old-pc-derived" Epson Printer. I bought an Epson C66 printer. My mac automagically recognized it and installed with gimp-print beta 2 drivers.
I tried to print a document... nothing. The printer status return this error: "The process "usb" stopped unexpectedly with status 64".

Any idea?
I tried to install the printer on my parallelized windows xp and works like a charm.
Running on Mac Pro.

i have exactly the same problem, just with a different printer - epson stylus color 760. works in parallels xp, supported by Gimp drivers, yet doesn't work in mac OS. process USB stopped unexpectedly status 64. very annoying. Anyone any ideas, I would be very grateful
