Epson supports AirPrint

I don't know, if this is known already, but I just received this:

All out printer, which have built-in WiFi (all printers with a "W" in the end of their name) are supporting AirPrint.

That's what I thought. Maybe they shipped firmware updates recently, otherwise it wouldn't make sense for the support to make such statements.

Hi. I don't have a good understanding of AirPrint, and am hoping someone can answer this question for me. When I bought a MacBook Air eleven months ago, I got that rebate wherein I got for free an Epson witeless printer. Is it possible that only an iOS update would enable the Epson to use AirPrint, or would it also require Epson to make some sort of adjustment to the printer, too?

Appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.

There is an "Epson iPrint" app in the App Store. It works with my Artisan 810.

Thanks for the heads up. Appears to be only for photos, but that's better than nothing for sure.

There's two apps for epson printing.

PrintJinni for Epson handles printing documents.

Epson iPrint handles pictures.



Should cover the bases....
