I recently bought some Skullcandy Headphones to use with my iPod/iPad. However, as other users of these headphones out there know, they sound worthless unless you alter the iOS EQ settings (preferably to Rock or R&B). This is all fine and good with music ON the device...but I need to change the setting for 3rd Party Apps such as Pandora, etc. Is there any app out there (Jailbreak or otherwise) that would let me alter the audio settings? Thanks in advance!

i don't actually know but because apple has strict rules to keep your device safe and to keep it functioning in a superb state

Apps are not allowed to change any core functionalities and environment
(change anything that will affect the system or other Apps)
this includes:
button function, appearance(themes),
brightness, settings (clock, wifi, bluetooth...)
and my guess also the EQ

since it would affect other Apps it would not be allowed
It would be allowed to work as an EQ and change sounds
(example: voice changer)
but it may only affect that App and if you close the App it has to stop

hence no longer serving the purpose you want

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

Oh ok I see. But that wouldn't restrict a Cydia app from doing it...

again, without knowing exactly,

since cydia apps (jailbroken devices) don't have the tight security measures they can allow more customization features by losing security.

but a quick google also came up empty, and same question on a different forum doesn't give a solution either
