Hi, I am trying to write equations in microsoft word, but I cant seem to find the editor. Im not sure if I have it...I installed the student version of office mac 2004, should it have come with that? If not, how can I install it. Thanks to all of you in advance.

The only time I used it, I ran it as a seperate application.

It's under Applications/Microsoft Office 2004/Office and is called Equation Editor.

EDIT : Follow skubish's tip below. It pulls up the app I'm talking about, but links the created equation automatically into your document.

Go to INSERT menu then choose OBJECT then select equation. Probably a shortcut to just bring it up.

Hi.
if I remember correctly, when you install Word, or rather Office, Equation Editor is not installed by default. You have to do a custom install, go through all of the various programme install options and check the Equation Editor box; sorry cannot remember if it is in the Word or Excel or whatever bit.
I have it installed on my set-up.

thanks, but ive already tried this. Its not installed. I am going to see if I can put the install list back in and get it.
