Does anyone know how this works? The website isn't very clear. They just announced the release of a new app for the iPhone. Can you watch your channels like Slingbox or is it just a random selection of channels? It also doesn't appear to mention anything about how much it may cost.

I just looked at the site and what I got from it, makes me think it is a German TV guide. Helps you remember when your favorite shows are coming on. Also looks like it give brief info about the upcoming show.

I don't think it plays anything at all...

equinux's Live TV phone app

"Live TV" shows all TV channels that equinux's TV software, The Tube receives - on your iPhone. That means, that "Live TV" is free to download from the iTunes App Store but you need to have The Tube first to use the application. "Live TV" gets live TV signals via Placeshift in the same wireless local area network (WLAN) as your Mac. As soon as your iPhone is registered with The Tube, you can watch all available channels on your iPhone.

Hope that makes things clearer.:)
