series 14 of ER starts tonight in the UK on Channel 4.

ON A SATURDAY!!
NOT NATURAL!!
JUST WRONG!!
:(

Every other series has gone out on a Wednesday, but not this year.

Like not having a Star Trek at 6PM on a Wednesday, just not Cricket.

Personally I can't be bothered with it anymore. Having spent 4 years in hospitals without once having a department blow up or a helicopter fall off a roof, I've finally decided that it just isn't true to life.:)

Although if you work at the Royal Marsden you may well find the whole thing a little too close to home.

That's because you weren't working down in Holby, Bristol. ;)

Can't really imagine the desk clerk of an NHS hospital launching rockets into the ambulance bay - but could happen. ;)

Anyway, Stanly Tucci really good actor, shame he hasn't got Romano to lock horns with.

I only caught a bit of ER once, some doc guy was juggling a heart around and thought it too much

Are they going head to head against Casualty?

Actually the folks at Channel 4 have moved ER to More4 for the first showing, Thursdays at 10pm. It started last week so the episode aired last night on Ch 4 was the first of the series but not the actual premiere (unless you don't have digital tv) if you know what I mean :p

I missed it anyway but not really bothered with ER that much for the last couple of years.

Also repeated on More4 at 10pm Mondays.
