I will be recycling my iPhone 3G as I have bought an iPhone 4. Does "Erase All Content and Settings" provide a real secure wipe or can the data still be recovered? if the latter, is there a more secure way?

Incidentally, O2 are offering to pay £155 for 8GB iPhone 3G, which seems pretty good. I just paid £179 for an iPhone 4 16GB on the £35 18-month tariff.
