I've just installed snow leopard and I wanted to erase everything and do a clean install of snow leopard but I can't find that option, is there such an option?

Yes there is.

Boot off the install disc, get beyond the license agreement and then select the tools menu and disk utility. Select the drive and repartition it (or erase). Exit and then start the install process.

I highly recommend you have a backup of your data since this will eliminate all of your data on the computer.

This is the correct way. And mods can't we sticky this already?
