Erase Entire Cameral Roll?

I want to erase my entire camera roll because it has all my pics from my 3G and 3GS on it and I got them on my computer in a separate folder. How can I erase all of them from the phone easily?

Uncheck sync photos on iTunes.

Using a Mac? Search for the program 'Image Capture' on your hard drive. It can select all the photos and erase them.

That worked for about 200 out of the 1600 pictures and now it just keeps crashing?

Ok so I did most of them manually from the iPhone, but not I have another problem...

I just recorded a pretty awesome video that I need this past weekend with the 4S and I deleted it by accident in iPhoto before, well kinda. I have the video on my computer but it's too big to email, and I have it in a text message I sent someone so I just resent it to myself, but now the quality is all tiny and crappy.

1. Why does the quality of video messages turn to crap when you send them?
2. How can I get it back to it's original quality on my 4S?
