Erase Jailbroken iPhone W/O Updating iOS? Cydia Eraser NOT working

I have an iPhone 6 on iOS 8.2 (yes 8.2) that I'm going to sell and would like to keep on iOS 8.2 for potential jailbreakers.

However, Cydia Erase does not work -- I get "Error utility.cpp:100 _assert(end - data == str.size())" immediately upon trying it.

Any other software to try? The regular "erase all contents and setting" feature does not work properly with jailbroken phones, or so I hear from everyone on Reddit. (Just reading, I have not asked there.) All I've come across is imyfone uMate, which looks like a scam.

Yeah, do NOT Erase All Contents and Settings!!!!

Thanks! That worked. I don't know why I didn't come across it before in 20 minutes of googling.

It doesn't seem to run in 10.13, so it took me half an hour to dig around to find an external windows boot HD for my iMac and install iTunes, but eventually it all worked super easily once I remembered my iPhone's SSH password.

Sadly, Semirestore doesn't support Mac.
