iPhone Erase my IPhone in Findmy app

Hi all,

I’ve always used the find friends app on my first homesfree. and not had the find my iPhone app running, but now with ‘findmy’ app combiningboth, I’m concerned what happens if one of the children get hold of my phone and hit the erase button on my device on both of the screens in the app... does it automatically erase or does it require the Apple ID password to be put in on the following screen?

I don’t want to go past this screen in case it erases!

I believe it will ask for your PIN and then ask again if you are sure you want to erase the phone.

Unless your kids know your code, you are safe. Make the code a long one.
