Early 2010 MBAir w/ssd using its OS X Install DVD with MBPro as remote optical and networked with an Airport WiFi.

Following the erase & reinstall procedure on Apple's forums but at step 13 I'm not given the "options" menu needed to erase prior to install...

...rather after (step 12) the air begins to download which was successful in that respect.

Thereafter, I repeated the procedure, albeit s-l-o-w-l-y but still no drop/drag/select menu.

Trying another route thru Disc Utility, I'm unable to connect the dots on how to erase the entire drive and select a format due to it's not opening up for selection... although I do have the option of only erasing the free space.

I'm giving as a gift (upgrading to 11-inch mbAir) and want my companies info gone-poof off last year's Air.

Thanks in advance! Ken
