Erase, Reinstall OSX, & ______?

Howdy!

I just bought a used iMac and I'm wondering if (besides erasing the fusion drive and reinstalling OSX) I need to do anything else to make sure that the iMac didn't come with spyware (or whatever) on it?

As long as you’ve erased the entire drive and are installing from a trusted medium then no, there’s nothing else you can really do.
