Erased Bootcamp Partition, now can't delete partition via bootcamp?

I erased my bootcamp partition this morning thinking that was the same as deleting the partition - how do I actually delete the partition and combine it with my MAC OS partition now? I can't do it thru bootcamp

Normally you use Boot Camp Assistant.

the problem is once I open bootcamp and press "Continue", it shows an error message saying I can't go further since the erased windows partition is in HFS format (when I erased it in disk utility it automatically got formatted)

the bootcamp assisent program only works with 1 partition so what you have to do is delete the 2nd partition and resize the 1st partition so that it takes all the space

alright problem solved! Instead of deleting partition from Bootcamp, I had to delete it and merge it with my MAC OS partition via Disk Utility
