I downloaded Transmission and turned out I didn't want it. Since I'm new to Macs I decided to just erase my HD, and reinstall OS X Lion back to factory setting. Well when I erased my Macintosh HD disc storage it ended up deleting it, and giving me another HD named Untitled. Then I went to install a new OS X. Did I do something wrong? or anything harmful to my MBA? Also when I did all of this I noticed my storage space was at 120.99GB. Shouldn't it be roughly near 128GB?

Just rename the hard drive to anything you want. You can call it Cap'n Crunch, it really doesn't matter or have any ill effects on the computer or how it functions. I have no idea why you re-installed the computer to remove a program, though.

I'm pretty sure it's fine, but you could've toss Transmission into the Trash Bin. Probably not a good idea to keep doing that. The 7GB of missing space are applications and the operating system itself.

Im no where near computer savvy and I even tried deleting the software but I kept on getting the window where it stated that finder couldn't close the application since the program was still running. Im still in the learning process, and I feel rather dumb about what I did. I should of looked into how to delete a program but I did the HD erase before I thought of looking into it. :(

The apple stores run workshops that you may benefit from. They teach you how to use your mac.

Go to 'Disk Utility'

Click one of your hard drives and you will see the options for it

This is where you rename your drive before erasing. It is 'Untitled' by default that is why it appears so because you didn't change it before erasing it.

Check your partition tab

and delete any partitions you don't want then drag the main partition to cover the whole hard drive.
