Erased MOV files

Hello wise people,
I recently deleted and external hard drive by mistake, yes I know I'm an idiot. I manage to recover all file with a software call Tech tool 7 but some of the MOV file seem to be damage, they play for a couple of seconds and then they stop and start to make weird noises, like and old tv. Is there way to repair those files? thanks
 
Video files in their compressed format can be difficult to recover. The current video frame depends on data from the many previous frames and just a little corruption can cause players and decoders to lose track and give up. No help, I know, but some of the video converter apps are better than players at sorting a bit of file corruption out. Not sure which is the best one.
