I connected my iPhone to my Mini, selected "manually manage music & videos" in iTunes but when I click the checkbox I get this message.

"Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iPhone with the contents of this iTunes library."

I am assuming it's because I used iTunes on my MacBook before to sync/load music.

I don't want my apps and home screen bookmarks to get erased so how can I do this safely?

So far it has transferred all the apps, home screen bookmarks etc from my iPhone to the iTunes library but I cancelled any syncing. It also did a backup of my iPhone.

I am trying to manually drag music to my iPhone but I can't obviously since "manually manage music & videos" is unchecked.

EDIT: On my Macbook should I backup to iCloud first then switch to my Mini and restore from that iCloud backup?

EDIT: Ok so I found out how to restore from an iCloud backup. Will this keep the bookmarks saved on the home screen as well as everything else?

After I do this will I then be able to manually manage music using Mini?

This will break my Jailbreak though right?
