I am sending an unlocked/jail broke iPhone 3G back to Apple for free replacement. I tried to restore it first but since I did not have the sim card inside when I did the restore, after the whole process the last window said to insert a SIM and connect to iTunes. For a certain reason I am unable to do this. My question is, has evidence of being jail broke and unlocked been wiped out?
