Does anyone have experience with eReplacements - MacBook MagSafe AC adapter for 13" MacBook? Or any other brand of third party Power Adapter?

I need to replace mine.

Apple is $79. eReplacements $45.

Please share advice/info on third party power adapters. Thanks.

To my knowledge, Apple hasn't licensed the MagSafe adapter to any 3rd parties. What they must be selling is either a used piece or a knockoff or some sort.

I'd pay the $35 for piece of mind that it's an Apple warrantied part.

i wouldnt trust anything other than OEM apple parts for something that is regulating the amount of power to my laptop.

Apple store here I come

OK, good advice.

(I thought the magsafe plug was a proprietary Apple-only item. The e-replacements power adapter was on New Egg, which I thought lent it some credibility rather than some random web site. Strangely, today it is listed as "Deactivated." On the e-replacements site it doesn't list it as available or coming in soon. Hmmm. No thanks.)
