Erm only one itunes library at a time?

Why cant i connect my ipod to different comps without erasing the music i have at my ipod? Is there any way to solve this, to be able to conect and import the music from my ipod without deleting the music I have ? graaa

i could of sworn that they stopped doing that when iTunes 7 came along...

my friend has music from both my computer and his own and he can connect to both w/o it resetting.

unless you have it set to auto-sync. i think it has to be on manual control to connect to multiple computers.

Good this is cofusing. It just say if you want to syncronize with this computer all the files will be erased on your ipod and rplaced by the ones at this itunes library...

but do you have the iPod set to manual management for all music, photos, & video?

if anything is set to auto sync the iPod will look for those libraries as soon as its connected. if they're not there it's gonna ask for a reset.
