iPod touch Err Playlists on the Ipod Touch

The playlists that are on my ipod touch do not match the ones in my itunes for instance, the top 25 most played and recently played arent even right. In my most recently played i have a song i played ages ago, and theres only that one song. my top 25 songs are just jumbled :\
