Error 1015! Help Please!

Hi guys,
I have an iphone 3g with the 1015 problem.
Ive run ireb and restored to 4.1 ipsw (not a custom one though)
And the same error has occured,
Could this be because i didnt use a custom ipsw?
Or could it be anything else?

I Had same problem while ago. I went to youtube and typed 1015 error and had bunch of videos and followed one of them and it work. Its been a while so I dont remember.

I've had many error problems throughout restoring, but sometimes trying on a different computer is successful!

Try using Recboot to kick it out of recovery mode. The error 1015 is when the Baseband firmware on the IPSW is higher than the baseband firmware on the iPhone.

No luck at all guys,
Tried tiny umbrella, ireb, irecovery.
Basically everything.
They all seem to work and then it comes back to the same screen again.
The only time i get a promising thing is if i exit recovery on tiny umbrella and disconnect the phone straight away.
Itunes then sets up the phone and recognises it but then the phone enters recovery mode again on its own!
Its really frustrating guys.
Ive tried firmware 4.1 and i downgraded to 3.1.2 as i was told it was easier.
The only thing i havent tried is a custom ipsw firmware,
Will this work?
Does anyone know why things that work for nearly all other iphones arent working for mine?
Any help is much appreciated people!

if you have the ipad baseband then yes you need custom firmware aka cooked.

I have no idea which baseband its on as it is my friends and he has no idea!
So the phone has no chance of booting without a custom ipsw if its on the ipad baseband?
If i use a custom ipsw will the recovery programs then kick it out of the loop?
Does the baseband prevent the phone from leaving recovery mode?
And do you have any links to some custom ipsws? do i have to use the firmware im on or anyone at all?

Ok.. so i downloaded a custom ipsw from sinful iphone.
It restored it without the 1015 error!
Only problem is is that itunes still says its in recovery mode.
And the iphone wont load past the booting screen!
Getting so frustrated now!
Can anyone suggest any other ways to sort out this phone?
Just want it to boot!

You did not mentioned if you used Recboot specifically?

Ok sorry guys,
Ive used recboot, irecovery, ireb and tiny umbrella to try and fix the recovery.
None have worked so far,
I have also loaded on a custom ipsw from sinful iphone for os 3.1.2
The phone loads up the booting screen but never proceeds past it.
No software or anything seems to be able to kick it out.
Any advice? or anything else i can do?

Ok guys ive got some more info via tiny umbrella,
Ive managed to downgrade to 3.1.2,
the installed baseband version is 06.15.00-6.4_M3S2
and the iphone model is MB489B/A - iPhone3G
Does this help anyone to reccomend a solution?
