Has anyone else received this error? I've downloaded the IPSW file twice now and I get an error 14 every time I try and install Beta 4. iTunes gives me "The iPad could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (14). I have the iPad Air Verizon model 1475, or iPad 4,2. The Beta 3 IPSW file I have works fine, and updating OTA to beta 4 works fine.. I wanted to do a clean install of 4.

Are you sure that you downloaded the correct OS for your specific device?
Also take a look at this folder:
~/Library/iTunes/iPad Software Updates

If something is in there, delete it, restart iTunes (maybe restarting the Mac can't hurt), restart your device and see if it works now.

Yes positive. Model 1475. The file names for Beta 3 and Beta 4 both begin with iPad 4,2.

This latest beta just isn't near to stable enough yet. Unless you absolutely need this beta, wait for the next one.

It's a problem with compatibility between beta 4 and iTunes. You need to restore to beta 3 then update ota on the device. Seems to affect iPad only, not iphone.
