Im trying to jailbreak a 3gs with a bb of 6.15 since I need the unlock.
I tried to use pwnage 4.3 but itunes kept giving me 1601 error. I searched and came up with this : Error 1601 or 1602 when restoring iPhone or iPod touch in iTunes but its not applicable since its an older itunes. Then I found iReb but it doesnt work for mac. I have an itunes 10.2.1 and Im using a mac.
I also tried using the redsnow to put it pwned dfu mode but i got an error when I did it with a 4.2 ipsw It stops on the exlpoiting limera1n, then I tried using a 4.3 IPSW and it errors right from the start . The red snow is 0.9.6rc8 and 0.9.7b6. I tried both of them with no success.
