Possibly a stupid question or already answered somewhere here.
I have an iPhone 4, I'm updating it/have it synced to a new asus laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium.
I'm updating the software on my phone and it gets about halfway through and I get a 1602 error (unknown error). From that point on iTunes can't see the phone but my computer can.
Apple replaced the phone the first time this happened, but from then on, I've had to plug it into another PC and restore back to factory settings, download the new software from the other PC, the restore my backup from my laptop.
The other PC that I end up restoring and updating on is running Vista.
I've reinstalled itunes, and ensured I have the 64 bit version.
Anyone else getting this problem? Anyone else figured it out a way around it?
