Error 28 caused by jailbreak?

The other day I jailbroke my ipad. I was installing winterboard while I was listening to music and suddenly the ipad just rebooted and went into the recovery menu. After that everytime I tried to restore I kept getting a error message 28.

I called Apple and they told me 28 means some kind of hardware problem....

You guys think the jailbreaking+ winterboard had something to do with it or did I just get stupid unlucky and have my ipad fail at the same time I happened to be installing winterboard/ listening to music?
 
unlikely, Error 28 have been experienced by people that have never Jailbreak.( quick good search show people with and without jailbreak). You just got unlocky with a faulty hardware sorry
 
That's what I gathered from my googling as well. Thank you for the confirmation. Apple replaced it for me after looking at it. What a relief :D

Not sure if I will jailbreak again for a bit though XD
