Hi there..

Very quick background... New macbok pro with osx 10.6.5. New apple user.

I regularly add images to my website gallery and previously did this through the sharepoint designer software on my windows laptop.

Obviously no sharepoint available for mac so I just mapped the drive with the web address and the login details and it comes up in 'Finder' under 'Shared'. No problem... I can see and open files on the drive.

When I try to add a new file to the drive through from my pictures folder on my mac I get:

The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “Dave and Jo wedding pics-01.jpg” can’t be read or written.
(Error code -36)

It looks like it has put a file on the shared drive but when i click on it to get info it shows its 0kbs and wont open.

From a quick google it looks like it might be because the server drive is ntfs or windows format or whatever and the mac is fat32 format but how can i get round this?? Obviously web designers use macs and upload files all the time???

Many many thanks in advance.

Nathan
