I have a 2tb external hard drive which is partitioned into two 1tb sections, one NTFS for extra storage, and the other is HFS+ with backups of files from my MBP. I've been trying to setup access to the drive through my Windows 7 desktop, to save having to move the USB and be sat at the desk when accessing files from my MBP. I have managed this with the NTFS partition using sharing in Windows 7 and can read and write from my MBP to this drive quite happily. I installed the 10 day trial of Paragon HFS+ for Windows, which has allowed my Windows PC to read and write to the HFS+ part of the drive. I've set up the sharing as with the other drive, however although I can read from it on my MBP, everytime I write I get an 'error -36'. I've checked the sharing permissions and I have read/write access, it seems to be more of an error with writing to the disk itself.
If I copy a file to it in Windows I can open it on my MBP and even delete it, but I can't write to it from the MBP.
If anyone has any ideas on what I may need to change in the setup to fix this that would be really helpful.
Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong section of the forum.
A few extra details: Seagate 2tb external drive, Windows 7 Home Premium Desptop with Paragon HFS+ installed, Mid-09 2.53GHz MBP.
