Error -43 File can't be found when copying from Macbook to Win Laptop via wifi

I am copying... no, I am TRYING to copy a bunch of music files from my macbook pro to a win laptop on the same network. I cannot copy more than a few at a time as my macbook keeps throwing out the "Error Code -43 - The operation can't be completed because one or more items can't be found". Which is total BS as it copies them in the next 2 or 3 attempts. The wifi connection is not an issue, there are no firewall problems and it's really just a matter of reattempting the copying over and over again until OSX decides to really copy them successfully...
