Error 43 when copying certain files

I have a NTFS external USB-drive connected to my mac. I also have NTFS-3G installed to write to the external HD. Now for most files (mkv,iso,avi) there isn't a problem, but for some files (iso,mkv) it starts copying, but when it is halfway it stops and gives me a error 43. I can copy these files without a problem within the mac own HD. These files are bigger than 4GB, but the HD already contains several files bigger than 4GB. I run Snow Leopard 10.6.4. I hope this is enough info to get a solution, because this problem is starting to drive me nuts.
