I have an old macbook pro 6,2 (mid 2010) and after running an apple hardware test I got the following errors. My mac works fine so do I have to worry ?

[11/25/13 16:37:03] SATA(0,0) (test #6) - Check SMART attributes
- Check the SMART attributes for a device.
[16:37:03] ERROR -- 5 [No SMART attributes to check] -- TEST FAILED
[11/25/13 16:37:03] SATA(0,0) (test #6) - Check SMART attributes
- Check the SMART attributes for a device.
[16:37:04] ERROR -- 5 [No SMART attributes to check] -- TEST FAILED

I have 2 internal hard drives one samsung 840 pro ssd and one 750GB WD black. The WD drive is installed to the related hd caddy by owc.

Do I have to worry ?

Please help.

Nothing to worry about; the AHT can't read the SMART status of the SSD, if it even has one. (It's expecting to read the SMART status of the OEM HDD, hence the test fail error.)

Hi and thank you for your reply.

I also used SMART Utility to check my hard drives.
http://www.volitans-software.com/smart_utility.php

All showed well but my SSD tests showed a CRC Error Count : 8. The overall status says Passed but do you have any idea what those crc errors are ?

I am including a print screen…
