Error -50 Synching Photos

I recently upgraded by iPhone to 3G. Using iTunes 7.7 with the 2.0 firmware, I receive the error:

The iPhone <user name> cannot be synched. An unknown error has occurred (-50). ​

The error occurs during "Optizming Photos". If I disable photo syncing everything else syncs properly. I have deleted all iPod Photo cache folders, but the error still occurs.

Anyone experience this issue? Anyone have any suggestions to correct?
