Hello,
I have a 2011 macbook pro 15" with an i7 and 8GB ram. I recently removed the hard drive and installed a 120GB SSD, and replaced the optical drive with the old 500gb HDD it had originally. The hard drive wasn't even spinning up so I took out my enclosure and found the ribbon cable was ripped, so I ordered a new one. The drive now spins up and reads and I can do whatever with it in disk utility, But whenever Try and copy files to it, I recieve error code 36. I have tried reformatting it and pulling it out and testing it through a USB and it works perfectly fine... back in the macbook and.. nothing. Its extremely frustrating, and Really starting to be a burden, since i have no more than 3mb left on my fancy new SSD thanks to me having to use that to store data on for the time being. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
