I have had a samba shared drive on a linux box, which I have been able to connect to from my Mac (Mac OSX Version 10.5.8) for about 3 years. Just randomly I began getting this error: The Finder cannot complete the operation because some data in smb://192.168.1.7 could not be read or written (Error code -36). This error happens when I try and connect through the GIU (Go >> Connect to Server). If I connect to smb through the command line, it works fine. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I am stumped. Thanks.
