Error Code 36 while Copying: Need Help

I just got myself a new iMac and am copying all my pictures over from the external backup. I have close to a terabyte if Raw files and every now and then I get the Error Code 36 while copying them over onto the main HDD on my iMac. I don't have the time to copy every single folder until I find the lemon file.

Is there a way to force copy?
Is there a way to make OSX keep on copying and leave the corrupted files out?

I need to securely copy all my files.

It is very frustrating when i'm 95% done it gives me the error and I have to start copying again....

Anyone can help me out?
